so guys do you think it would be possible to beed a pair of green sunfish in a 29 gallon long?
It could be possible. But I would doubt it! The sunfish most likely will be reluctant to breed, with out space and their natural environment. Do as other's suggested!!!

No its not possible for a pair of larger highly aggressive green sunfish will breed in 29gal without proper conditions.

could anyone post pics of what green sunfish eggs look like? i think they bred in my 20 gallon (i had to move them to fix a leak) and they are little clear bubble type things and have like a white colored "slime" covering them and i idk what it is its on a pice of driftwood and i jsut noticed it when i was watching my fish and the biggest green sunfish was just like gaurding them any ideas?

Your sunfish dont bred, and that white slime wasnt sunfish egg, it was just slime fungus on your driftwood. And the green sunfish was defend his HOME, not his eggs. Sunfish do not spawn on driftwood, they spawn in a pit which the male made.

so it would be alright to take out the wood and scrub it off then?

here i have a green sunfish in my 29 gallon. he is contiuosly digging in the gravel. he has made a pit all the way to the bottom. all i need probably is a female. i believe it is possible to breed them. but maybe get a bigger tank than me

You need a tank with the largest footprint possible. I suggest two. Separate the male and condition him seperately with lots of substrate. Drop the temperature for a couple of months , reduce the light levels and feed them well.
Start increaing the amount of light by ten minutes a day and raise the temeperature by 5-10 degrees over a month long period. Once the male starts to build a bower, introduce the females. He will pair off wth one, remove the rest.

well i removed the wook cuz it was starting to spread across hte whole think so now i have some hornwort in it now :)
