good luck with them. my advice is to have alot of hiding spots for the fries and dont starve the adults.
I'm new to breeding guppies...How do you know if it's a male or a female guppy? They all look the same
you can either vent them or the simpler way is that the mals are usually more colourful and smaller thene females
we should have a sticky about how not to breed guppies....

Do you guys know if you can get male and female guppys @ petsmart? the only lfs here in Greenville closed.
I know my petsmart sells them, but then I'm in Ohio. If you're looking to breed Fancy guppies, get the guppies that show the characteristics you're looking for. To be honest, I got rid of my guppies, because they were breeding themselves out. I started out with 10 guppies (3 male,7 female) and in 6 months time they filled the tank (30 gallon).
Even feeding them to my cichlids everyday, they were producing too fast.
