Been lookin around and thinking about breeding feeder guppies... any 1 know if its easy? how do u tell male from female... sry wrong section if some 1 could plz move this
If your fish can handle them(or just feed them at the preferred size of growth) start breeding convicts. If you could get a hold of maybe a 29 gal or something and put a flower pot in there and plop a pair in there you should have no problem getting them to breed. Many people have had them breed even when they weren't trying to breed them.warlord651;4336556; said:Been lookin around and thinking about breeding feeder guppies... any 1 know if its easy? how do u tell male from female

Look up on google pink convict and black convict( 2 diffrent color varieties that can interbreed) the diffrence between the male and the female is the female will have orange on their belly and the male has no orange and longer fins. Dont be sad if they eat their babies the first few batches of young, eventually they will care for their young for the long term. Good luck and I hope I helped![]()
