breeding guyana ocells

I'm not 100% sure on how accurate this might be, but I think the one with the hump is a female.

I'm just going off of what my old ocell looked like before she laid eggs. She had a small hump like yours mike.

its all good bro..but i'm 100% he's a male..one thing i have learned on cichla is on males thier anal fins come to a point while females anal fins are sounded if that makes sense..

Can you tell this at a young age or wait till they r big

here's a perfect example..on the bottom of the pic my old mono..he was a male and see how his anal fin comes to a point? and the kelberi is female and see how her anal fin is round?
