Breeding In a 20 Tall

What fish could I breed in a 24" x 12" x 16" (20 tall) that will care for their eggs (if that applies), won't eat most of their fry, and I can sell for a decent price. I'm thinking either some livebearers, maybe BNs, or feel free to suggest anything else.
 
most fry that are easy to breed wont "fetch a fair price" because the market is usually filled with them. Supply and demand, to make money you have find a fish with high demand and low supply (which usually means not easy to breed). Mot of those that I can think of wont breed in a 20 gallon.

If you are up for a challenge look into something small and unique that might not be the easiest to breed. Those little orange mexican lobsters are fetching a good price in my area maybe look into something unique like that. They may be a challenge.

CPOs are cool but that's not what I was thinking. Are there any cats that meet those standards I could breed? I also don't need much profit, just make a few dollars here and there.

I don't know much about these or what they take to breed but the lazer cory cats are going for a good price so you might be able to get a few bucks off them. I know people keep them in small communities.
 
Fancy shrimp. Pick a variety and go for it. Cherry shrimp are easy but most dwarf shrimp have been bred in aquariums. Crs and cbs go for good money and some are far more expensive depending on type

Would it be ok to breed corydoras and leave the eggs in the tank with the breeding group or would they eat them? I'd set up a fry tank for eggs and fry if I had room but I don't as of now so I need a fish that can live with their offspring and/or eggs until I can sell them. If not I'll probably breed some Ancistrus or small Peckoltia species but I'd prefer Corys for now if possible.
 
Ok so I think I've decided to do a breeding group of livebearers (species to be decided) and if I have any room left maybe some smaller Ancistrus with them.
