I dont think your fish could keep up with the mice
why not try to breed some convicts if you want some easy live food

Convicts are a great idea for live food the p's would be able to keep up with them although they almost breed like mice...

Hmm, a lot of people have tried this including me, and now have pirhana and convict tanks...my cons even steal the prawns out my P's mouth! P's dont like fish that face them down, they prefer fish that turn tail and run...

I also have that problem with the convicts but they seem to dissapear one at a time and the p's seem to like having sometihng around to chase all the time

at the pet store i work at we breed our own mice/rats/hamsters and just to let you know, mice tend to eat their own babies:yuck:

I feed market shrimp and pellets to mine. Much more healthy than feeder and cheaper to

I've tried breeding mice before when I kept reptiles, and believe me, it's not worth the effort. The SMELL alone makes it a bad idea.
