Breeding Ornates

so what are you going to do with the fry when they get bigger?
 
Good question. I'm going to keep one or two....will need another tank. I have arranged credit with my LFS. That's how I can get another tank...lol. And if these guys get big enough to ship, I may sell/trade with other poly keepers.

Last Update: All three juveniles are eating well. Smallest = 6.8cm, the largest =10cm. Just this morning, the largest started eating pellets. I cut up a Hikari Massivore Delite pellet into about 2mm pieces. THe big guy passed up the pellets on the first and second go, but finnally, took the bait...so to speak lol.

i was thinking. Why not the Admin of MFK collate write ups and reports of breeding of exotic monster fish and publish it. This is an opportunity to market the MFK brand. There's a market for hobbyist around the world. Shopko was kind enough to share me his logs and research paper and it's very informative and very professionally presented.

I'm using that as guide for my project now.

I do understand that info are on the web, but you have to do a lot of research and breeder's log like what Shopko did saves you that time and based on actual experience. Hobbyst may in turn get commissions or copyrights for their efforts. Your thoughts.
