I've never had my pair fight. I have 2 alternately spawning. Right now I have free swimmers and my other pair just picked a spawning site so I'm sure I'm gonna expect eggs in a few days. I always take out their fry and so far they have never fought. Probably because they're in a community and they're too busy fighting other fish.

Now since u toke them any fry put back will be eaten. Like I she thinks he ate them so they will eat any fry. I would never seperate my fry from their parents before a month atleast half a inch in size.

Toke lol. I think I separated mine around 1 month too. They were probably .5" when I did.
