Breeding Pair for a 75g CA/SA?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm thinking of getting a pair of cubans when I get my 75 set up.

question, are you breeding to sell? if so, you might want to hit up a LFS and see if they would be willing to buy the fry off you.

I would love to do GT's but I thought they get too big. Anybody else think this is feasible?

Nope, and their temperment is the same as a JD's so you'll be good. I would say give some of those Red Sev's a shot. Rapps has them now and they are awsome.

nah breeding for fun. The most interesting thing about cichlids IMO is the breeding behavior. Ofcourse being able to get rid of fry is cool too.

No GT's are too big dont try it, or no nothing to worry about give it a go?

I think a pair of GT's would do just fine in a 75.
