I have had this 10 gallon set up for quite a while now and it is just running with a couple tetras in it. I want to do something with it but I cannot figure out what. I have decided that since I have not bred fish in a while I want to breed something(I know not much room). I was thinking apistos at first but how hard are they to breed? I am not exactly a pro at breeding fish. Oh and please do not suggest guppies. If it comes down to guppies being the only thing then I will breed nothing! Thank you. And I will set up a fry tank too so it won't be crowded in the parent's tank.

ancistrus species plecs

As in bristle nose/ bushy nose? I think those get too big....Correct me if I am wrong.

I think bristle nose plecos get 7 inches so it may be cramped in a 10. Maybe kribensis or mollies for food? I am thinking about doing that for my fishies.

I was thinking about that too but it just takes soo long to grow them to the right size and just to kill them.... Kind of a waste I think. I was looking at some apistos today at the LFS and they had some really nice ones. They also had gold tetras and some other thing that was really cool. Can't really breed those though.

i duno there are over 55 species of bristlenose. most of them are small, and a lot ranging in the 3-5" range. im not sure on dimensions of a US 10gallon though... only thing i can find is a 10Gal tall with the dimensions 16 x 8 x 17 tall. are those centimetres or inches? BN have been bred in 10 gals, not sure if it was UK or US though. i'll check

US dimensions for a ten would be 20x10x12(?) in inches.

IDK I think I am going to try and do something that is more common around me.... I don't really want to spend a ton of money on this because it is just kind of a little side project. I was thinking maybe cories....or apistos....or just something common but cool I guess.... I know very vauge! I want something fairly easy to breed I know that for sure.
