Breeding Pair in a 10 Gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i know this is lame... but my female guppy is having a problem.... she has about a dozen fry out now... and it seems like one is stuck and doesnt want to come out... or she was aborted... idk... anyone got any advice?

cories would be cool chad but im not sure how difficult it is. i know with at least some species it is really hard. BNs are v. easy. most of the livebearers are easy enough

Well maybe if you could help me find some cheapo BN that stay the right size. I would LOVE to do BN or any pleco for that fact I just can't find any around me and hate paying the shipping and stuff cuz im starting to run dry of my funds around now. I still have my monsters to feed! But I LOVE the idea of breeding plecos. Any other kinds that are fairly easy to breed that would stay the right size. I know I can find clown plecos and rubber lips fairly easy....?

Oh yea I forgot to say that I already have a HUGE peice of driftwood just waiting for some plecs too:naughty: .

And if it helps any it has a very fine sand bottom....idk if this will be a plus or a problem with plecs

I don't know about Plecos but I've heard Cories are hard to breed. I currently have a breeding pair of Kribensis P. Pulcher, in a 10 gallon tank. I can't seem to stop them from having fry. The 10 gallon was supposed to be a tem thing, but they are doing so well I've left them. They're colorful and fun to watch too.

I think a ten is too small for kribs....I had a friend that had some kribs that were atleast 6" in a 40 long and I just couldnt see putting a 6 inch fish in a ten.
