You could try but it'd probably end up corned and beaten unless it's big then in that case it shouldn't be in that size tank anyway

A male con should have the attitude to deal with a pair of Firemouth ,there would need to be a lot of hiding places tho

In the tank currently there is 3 caves and two big bushy fake plants. In think I might be able to make another cave in a minute
That should work just have multiple, in my 90 I have plenty of nooks and holes for my female salvini and convict that my Blackbelt and midevil can't get into.I don't make designated "caves just plenty of hiding spots

well I'm thinking of getting some more bog wood and a few real plants. So there's loads of hiding spaces on one side of the tank and then let the Firemouths have the top and the other side
Here's my setup, I can't put plants of any kind, they just uprooted or ripped apart.
