Breeding Pair "SHOW WORHTY"

You have listed so many fish...

Why don't you chill for a second, collect yourself, go through the list and think about which ones you can hold when they reach their max sizes.

Then look up how hard breeding is for them, and see what they run for at 1", 2" and so on..

Then go through your list, and number them.. 1 easiest and go up.. larger the number harder to breed etc..

Then try your hand at maybe 2 different kinds, and see how that works to start.

i have been comparing prices of1 inch 2 inch and 3 inch but everybodys sells them for a different price thats the problem , and i can house them for life, and to breed them i am putting a divider and making a hole only the female can fit through

I would recommend buying from Rapps or cichlid connection. I have bought fish from both of these vendors. All fish are great!

The divider will not work for all fish, just so you know. You can't just take a general thing and apply it for all fish.

As for f1, f2 etc.. WC is always best, and work your way down from there, but there are many MANY hobbyists that don't care about the generation of the fish. They want a nice looking fish that's going to look nice in their tank, and potentially make nice offspring.

You will have a hard time selling frontosa... everyone wants them, but everyone is extremely picky about them because they can be mixed and sometimes you can't notice. I have a breeding colony of Frontosa, and getting rid of the babies takes forever!

I've got a really crappy looking F1 festae, but tons of people want it because it's a festae that's f1. I have a rescued midas that's amazing looking.. I don't know the generation of it, and people want him because he's nice..

It's really hit or miss.

i would go with something in the middle. not hard to breed, easy to sell, but not too common.

Point blank.. breeding fish as a regular hobbyist doesn't bring in money like you think it would.

i know breeding fish doesnt bring in money but it pays for food, and i save up ther money from breeding fish to buy new heater and decorations like that kind of stuff , im not expecting to get hundreds of dollers just $5 here and there
also i decided to breed ornatum

oscars, pleco, and a jack dempsey

also how much could i get for a 10 inch pair of jags golden form with stunning colors and pattern: spawns 1000+fry every 3 weeks, they have a strong bond the male never beats on the female and they raise the fry for up to 2 months +, i was thinking $130

Yeah, I'd say around that. I think the highest realistic price for them would be $200. Here in florida, you can catch them as they're an established non-native species, along with many other cichlids and interesting non-native species.
