These endless debates over hybrids are so pointless. Either you like them or you dont. If you dont accept that they are, and have always been, part of the hobby imho you need to do some research.

HYBRIDS HAVE BEEN IN THE HOBBY FOR DECADES. IF YOU OWN OR HAVE EVER OWNED ANGEL FISH, MIDAS, RED DEVIL, ABSOLUTELY ANY TYPE OF LIVEBEARER ETC I FREAKIN GAURANTEE THEY WERE 100%..HYBRIDS, YES THATS RIGHT FOLKS HYBRIDS.

Unless you buy them from a very reliable breeder very little of any lfs's fish selection is pure and hasn't been since virtually the beginning of the hobby.

Amen to that! Hybrids are here to stay, so stop hatin' and stop dictatin' younglin... At least were not buyin' any wild caught fish and endangerin' the whole species...
