Just curious if anyone has had any experience breeding these guys? If so, at what size did they initially breed for you?

I have heard its the ussual 6" that they can breed at. Might want to hold out until they arelarger though as to not slow down groth. You have some?
Since they grow to a very large size I'd say around 10" plus but anything is possible. Most are at a large size that I hear about.
Hmm...Yeah i've got 3 three of each. The largest Bocourti is a male @ 9-10" and the other two are at 4" and 5". Not sure on the sex. The largest Pearsi is a male @ 8-9" and the other two are 5" male and 6" female. They're all together in a 300g
Nice, I have always wanted to do a male Pearsi. They are awsome fish. Their eyes are gourgous. Did you get them from Rapps?TMSB805;4148199; said:

Breeding pearsei is not too uncommon (Eddy bred his), but bocourti seem much more difficult. I asked about it on this board a while ago and didn't get any replies with actual experience.
I keep an adult pair for several months with no luck. They were both wild fish, 3-4 years old. The male was 12" and female 10". They got along, courted occasionally, but eventually I run out of patience and tank space.
