Breeding pearsei is not too uncommon (Eddy bred his), but bocourti seem much more difficult. I asked about it on this board a while ago and didn't get any replies with actual experience.
I keep an adult pair for several months with no luck. They were both wild fish, 3-4 years old. The male was 12" and female 10". They got along, courted occasionally, but eventually I run out of patience and tank space.
Not what i wanted to hear about the Bocourti. But i'm up for the challenge. Then again i guess its really up to the fish whether they wanna get it on or not
