i would like to know what is the right size to introduce a female ray into the tank with a mature male (about 14 in dia) last week i introduce the female ray (8" in dia) and the male went nuts on her bitting and would let her go. i know that is normal but i don't want my female ray to get hurt by the male. just wants to know when should i take the dividers part again. also what size should the female be to take the divider out.

best way to get breeding activity is to have a female the same size or bigger then the male, female motoros mature at about 12" so she has a ways to go
