Hey everyone, I havn't posted here for a while but I would like some opinions on breeding. I have a 100 gal currently with a 4.5" hydrolycus scomberoide, 5" jaguar cichlid and 4" clown knife fish. I would like to breed jaguar cichlids so I'm getting rid of the payara soon, and buying some more jags. I was also wondering about X breeding. What if I threw a red devil and texas cichlid in there, what do you think would happen? Also, simple question but can anyone sex the Jaguar I have now? This is my first time breeding except for some convicts in a 30 gallon..
Any opinions and help is appreciated.

If you really want to breed jags, get rid of the clown knife also. The jags will kill anything else in the tank eventually anyway. What are the dimensions of the tank? 6'x1.5' is really bare minimum for a pair of jags.

Clown is in a diff tank for the moment till I can find a home for him, payara will be going soon and the tank dimensions are 72x18x18 Now I have 3 jags in it that are about 5" 3.5" and 3.5" the biggest one is chasing both the little ones but is only being aggressive to one. The other is very very light with dark dark spots on it, and the 5"er shakes its body and makes itself bigger for that one. Thanks for the reply.
