Since I now have room to do this and my current fish are breeding left and right, I convinced my woman to let me do this. I'm going to sell my 210 which is basically just a grow out tank, time out tank and put in place about 10-30 smaller tanks, not sure on the footprint yet but I'm thinking since I have large fish, will probably go with 20s and 40s or if I let them lay on their own and then move the eggs to their new tank I'd go with 10's. I know I have some fish that breed like Fenestratus and Zonatus but I'd rather breed pure fish. And my RTM breeds with any male it seems like, just like the Fen. But I know some folks like hybrids so I can do that as well.

I will also be designing a website, FB page, Aquabid seller account.

I will also do some shipping and will do some test shipments. If I can find someone willing to test this with me such as I give them free fry or juvi fish for shipment testing, that would be great. I've shipped once and it was a success and was a big fish so fry and juvi fish should be easy.

I know about bag buddies, oxygen pills, have plenty of bags, rubber bands, styroboxes, heat packs, tape, etc. Next I need to research the blue stuff you add to the water to calm the fish. I know with bag buddies you don't need to do that but I may not always use them, depends on price. All those items will be added on to the cost of fish, like most other places do it. Will only be using Delta Cargo for now, not sure about FEDEX or UPS, heard issues about them and Southwest is not by me.

Will also be placing an order with Dan because I have some single fish that need mates to breed, fish that you don't see in the stores.

I dont have anything built yet, need to sell the 210 first to fund this project so no pics yet.

I see Petco has the dollar a gallon till Nov 7 and I've researched some sponge filters, probably going to go with polyether cube sponge. I'm not going to go crazy with the filtration at the moment, just want to see how this goes. I have a lot of folks that want to buy fish from me but I've had no roam to raise any fish. And there are 3 LFS's that want to buy from me as well. So if it does get bigger then I will change up the filtration.

Below is what I currently have breeding, will probably breed and future breeding fish:

If you do want to test the shipping thing or whatever im close by you. Im Cody from the NKY page, i talked to you about motas and festae. I may also be interested in you 210g. My dovii pair need a bigger tank lol. Just get with me on here or on FB. Good luck man!

good luck, question: can a WC Florida Oscar or midas be considered a wild caught Oscar? are these not tank fish let loose in the water ways?

I don't have much experience with what you have listed, but aren't those pretty big fish? Maybe a few 55 and 75 tanks for breeding and grow out? Not sure 20s and 40s are going to cut it. Not trying to rain on your parade, just trying to help, so please don't be offended.

What kinda Meds do you keep on hand?

My biggest fish are the Bocourti, they will be in a bigger tank for sure. The rest can go in the smaller tanks like a 40 breeder. I'm currently looking for some wider tanks for that purpose. And the small tanks are for the smaller breeders.

I dont have a meds but ich meds at the moment. Do you have a suggestion as to what I should keep on hand?

I would keep prazi pro and metro on hand. Petco is having their dollar per gallon sale right now until the 7th i think. Might be a good time to snag up for 40B

I think the blue stuff you referred to is methylene blue, it will allow the water to retain more dissolved oxygen afaik. Also a great med to have on hand.

you do not want to use MB in your tank, this will effect your bio filter, MB is good for baths/dips or a hospital tank/nursery tank, but not in the main tank.
