You could cross breed it with a blue acara but you would have to try and get the biggest female blue acara you can find.

Hi there i would say get you a female about an inch or two biger or smaller they breed and keep very well in a 55 i have a pair in a 55 that have fry now they are not hard to breed try it you will see the female has to be about 5 inch to breed

Agree. Always put a bigger female to pair them up
