Breeding rainbow cichlids

Never would have thought id have this problem, parents are breeding in the community and I have a cloud of fry already in a grow out. Ive got to go amd get another tank to keep one of these parents in and probably some more smallish cichlids. Got to love having to get another tank. Since rainbows are so placid were going to get a 80g long its 6ft. And do a bunch of small cichlids. And im going to keep the male in my larger community. Well have a big cichlid community and and small cichlid community.

My old 110, full of growout blood red jewels, all female americans who needed a break. I miss having a dmaller community loaded with little guys. They swarm.like crazy.

Oh wow 9 days later they have laid eggs again and are protecting it. This time 1/3 the size as last time. Thats the last batch of babies for reference. uploadfromtaptalk1366819778290.jpg

So I snapped a pic today and put it back with the parents. Im going to wait 24 hours and pull it out. Theres absolutely no way these can survive in the community.

Oh wow! Same day and my jags laid eggs last night too! Man I wasnt ready lol. I bought two 29 gallon today just for fry and I needed an extra heater too. Heres the jag eggs. Man thats a lot of eggs! uploadfromtaptalk1366820464743.jpg
