Can someone please give me some advice on breeding my rams? I'm keeping a pair in a 14"x7"x9" tank. The guy at my LFS said this would be big enough, but i dunno...... Any help would be nice

NO WAY! You cannot keep any fish in a tank that small (Although some people would argue a goldfish and betta can) (Perhaps a betta).

Try and look at buying a tank thats 15-20G. The sizes might range from 24"x12"x12" for a 15G. Or 30"x12"x12"

that's like 3 gal !??! (ish) that's not big enough i would use atleast a 10 gal with 20 being better, but the bigger the better. rams usually breed only in really good water so make sure you keep condidtions up and keep up on WC's
