i have 9 RBP's in a 50 gallon tank..i bought them march 28th they where cute little dime size fishys...but now im wondering how long does it take them to sexually mature and pair off...and how is the easiest way to breed the piranha when they do pair off...whats the size tank to breed the pair, temp. , and is it a good idea to add water additives?

The only person I knew that had a breeding population had a 1/2+acre pond.

9 rbp in a 50 gallon tank... and about 5" get a bigger tank you should have 3-4 only in 50 gallon max is 4 and about 6-8 inchs if your lucky they should start breeding but thats only if you have a nice habbitat for them and beware when your rbp do breed they will leave al your rbp in a conrner so you might wanna think about getting a bigger tank

All I know is, it isn't going to be easy. I also think you are overstocked and asking for trouble having that many in a tank that size.

they all get along great in there tank but i would love to put them in a bigger tank.. i have a 105 box tank i can put them in if it comes down to them fighting eachother..
