will a drop in temperature induce the pair to spawn?

i need some help here.

my pair of orinos has been very peacful towards each other and displaying signs of pairing off. but just 5 mins ago they started flaring and fighting, stirring up some waves

have read some thread on breeidng of peacock bass and some memtioned that they pair will fight to induce spawning.
could my pair's fight just a while ago indicate they are going to spawn soon??

post a video of how their acting..it'll be much easier to tell..
