Breeding Size

What is the size tropheus duboisi have to reach to be able to start breeding in their colony? Mine are still spotted and little so they arent near breeding size! But when will they reach breeding size? How long does it take for them to get that big? When will they breed regularly?

They'll probably start spawning around the 2" to 2.5" range. The spots will drop around then. Young females usually don't hold full-term the first few times. The best thing to do is let them hold on their own, they'll eventually figure it out.
