I got 6 snails from the lfs and they are like black or brown and there still small(large pea size) how long till they would have babies. i'm not sure how to sex them but i heard some are asexual is this true any info would help

got a pic? if it's ramshorn they are easy. If it's an apple snail, those are much harder to reproduce.

This. We really need to know the type of snail to help you out. If you don't know just post a pic and we can help. If they are the common littlepond snail or ramshorn then just add food and watch the population grow. If apple snails or some other exotic get ready for a fun pastime of chemistry balancing. But most likely. It should just be add food andkeep The tank cleanish.

A ramshorn species. Should breed for you without much work. Not as prolific as bladder snails but a lot more interesting in many ways.
