Unless you can afford 30-40 blacks, and a pond to house them all for a couple years, I dont see how this would actually work.

Why would you say 30-40. Do they only bred in harems in the while or pair up. All I know of aros breeding is the male holds the eggs in his mouth like a female african cichlid.

It's going to take you alot more than you think to actually pair up 2 aros...

I met a guy breeding the silver aros in a cheap intex above ground swimming pool from wal mart. The silvers get alot bigger. just thought it might be possible to do it with the blacks also.
