Can you guys give me all of the tips to breed Cichla please? I am pretty sure my two have paired, and the female orino is fat most of the time. The male mono is developing a hump a little, and he pushes the orino around a lot, and flares. I am going to split them off from the other tank mates so they are not disturbed at all. They are both around 14 inches.

try to heat up the tank that you are going to put them in cause all fish love to have warm water and have a slate for the eggs to go on thats all i have!
I will find the thread of pics so you can see the (thought to be) pair...they will be my one of a kind cichla!!

if you really think they are gonna spawn soon, then make sure they have somewhere to do it, and make sure you can have bbs started as soon as you see eggs, you have 2-3 days after they spawn before there will be free swimmers, so you will have that long to be ready, and dont forget to cover intakes and turn down your filters, you dont want to much circulation
