Hey, just wondering if I could get away with having a pair of FH in a 5'x18'' tank?

I was thinking of maybe trying to keep the FH with tankmates as I've seen it done before, maybe a female jag or festae?

to answer your first question. yes if they are not very large pair (meaning 10inches or bigger).

second question is a negative. that FH pair will not tolerate any tankmates in a tank that size. even then you might still want to have a divider handy for the pair.
 
I didnt meen keeping a pair with other fish, I ment keeping a Male FH with other fish, as I've seen it done.

Alright cool.
I might even be getting FH's.
Dunno what Im gunno do with this tank, gotta buy other fish first before I do anything wih it.
