I have been thinking of breeding some convicts or firemouths. Does anyone have suggestions as to what a LFS will usually buy. I dont care how much they buy it for I just want something that will breed well and be able to be sold to the LFs as fry. I was leaning more towards convicts. any suggestions?

Down here, con's are 100 for 1 cent. They are to common here. But, FM's can go for 50 cent a piece.
Are you in it primarily for the hobby or the money ? For the hobby, breed what interests you. For the money, breed what is marketable in your area. If you are lucky, both can come together. Good luck.
