Do you have a comparison pic on the black sand, in person can you see the blue and purple reflective hues better know.

His colour on the black substrate was very similar to yours and Chevy's. I was unsure about doing this, because i was more than happy with how he looked. You see alot more colour on darker substrate in person than you can ever show in pictures or videos (Unless you are Mo ) But honestly this fish is glowing ! He still has the blue and purple hues, only they are more intense. He is developing a bright pink band just behind his gill plates, that is starting to wrap aroud his head.

Still kickin myself for not grabbin a lady. My guy is moving soon to a tank with natural pool filter sand, judging by yours I think I will be happy with the color change. Breed him
