Standard flourescent double 48", thats it. no actinic (sp?)

Moto is crazy easy, dump whole peeled shrimp and the bass ignore it generally. exception is the tem and the wolf. And I am quite content to give Beelzebub his 2 shrimp a day to keep him satiated. When I was feeding worms I used a 4' black plastic tube and dropped them in right in front of the Ray. the tiger is a little picky right now but she is very new. I saw her eat crawlers before I bought her so I will give her some time and try to convert her to Shrimp too.

I love bass, but rays are really nice too. Big bioload though. I have a 140 gallon dyi wetdry with 20 gallons of bioballs and 1250 scrubbies.

Yeah between all those bass and the rays, I can only imagine how big your bio load is. Bio balls and scrubbies are good but you may want to replace some of them with some ceramic rings and/or bio-home. It may get a little expensive but it's definitely worth it. The media promotes a better environment for your bacteria to grow and the amount difference in surface area is extreme.

I noticed that one ray was a little on the skinny side. They can be picky eat especially when they are placed into new surroundings. I'm sure she will come around in due time.

Awesome clean collection! I cant wait till i get my monster tank.

Not saying the brawl wasn't instigated by the Azul, but the wolf overstepped his boundries. He did a mild shred job on the LARGE Azul. The Azul is only 13 inches. Yeah well the experiment went well up to that point and after Hulon jinxed me its over j/k;). It could have been the recent additions that stressed him out since he seemed to hide more often. Room for one more ray is how I see it.

Beautiful tank man! Let me know if you ever decide to thin out the pack in the near future :)

I was thinking more along the lines of some cichla :P . BTW you get that tiger from shark? I was eyeing him up for a while ...

Oh Dang sorry :ROFL:Did not mean to jinx ya...

Poor Azul.........at least he will heal.

Tiger was from SA. Super thin though. She is eating in my tank I just need to get a gross of worms.

As far as what I feed, heres the list:

Cichlid gold, hikari food sicks, Smelt, salmon, med/large shrimp, FD Krill, Worms, the occasional stink bug that irritates me, and once in a blue moon some fingers from small children.

Blue moon, Mmmmmm that sounds good. Arrgh too early.

I do have plans for about 200 fathead minnows at once, so between Rapps and I is the Musky fish hatchery who sells fathead minnows for ponds. So I know some of you fish and are familiar with bait balls. If you have been to Monterey Aquarium in Cali, they have a 1million gallon tank with yelllowfin and bluefin Tuna, big mahi/dolphinfish, hammerhead shark, and 100,000 sardines. Anyway when I went the sardines "balled up" and the tuna made attack runs through them. I want a Pbass simulation. I will film the mayheim.
