BRINE SHRIMP!!

haha yes I thought it was going to be a walk through the park. What do you feed your brine shrimp?? and what salinity do you keep your water at??
 
You also need to make sure that the eggs you pick up have been kept in lower temperitures. The ones you find hanging in the peg hooks in the LFS are worthless.
 
I keep salinity between 25 and 30 ppm and I feed them finely powdered cheap fish foods, distilled algae water and I used to feed a specialized artemia diet when I wasnt sure how to keep them alive and really wanted to succeed. I've since run out and wont buy more because of its cost. The cheap fish foods have nearly the same ingredients anyways minus some of the algae products.
 
Yeah I may have to try the fish food and see how that goes. How long do you keep yours in the hatchery before moving into the grow tank?? I think i may do it too early.
 
Ah ok then do you mix the finely powdered cheap fish foods, distilled algae water together and feed them that? how do you know when you have feed them enough?
