the ornate Bichir is growing like crazy, must have been in the store too long in the 10 gallon. I've had it for 6 days now and it had grown an inch and is fat like hell. I should have measure it before putting it in the tank. I had an ornate before and the one before was not aggressive, this one is very active and aggressive, does not hurt others but lets them know who boss. I have 2 small senegal in with him and they are chased out of the cover. will be adding more wood this weekend.

Nice deal for sure there too. Mine was also good deal. I traded my cherax quadra (lobster) for a 8 inch jardini plus 30 bucks. Anyways the lobster was just getting out of hand, getting out of the tank, etc thats why i traded it.

Good luck! My Jar loves guppies and no shell shrimp. Im using dark substrate and white LED lighting, loving it so far! As long as i feed my jar well, doesn't bother tank mates.

sweet, on the deal you got. mine's a little more complicated, I'm feeding live foods to get him or her into shape. then I'll start them on the sticks and pellets, and shrim, he's being bully by a Moorii I'm holding for a friend.

Hard to get pictures, though I do photography, I am better at people portrait then i am with fish! they move so fast. I will master fish photography in time, until then, enjoy my blurry images.....
