i personally like german blues more than electric blues ( although i do highly respect how beautiful they r) . do they really dig up plants? if yes, i'm definitely going with the ctenopoma ansorgii instead ^^;;

You shouldn't have a problem with the rams digging up the plants, they aren't that destructive in planted aquariums. They might move a few pieces of gravel from here to there but that's pretty much it.

that's sweet man. looks really sharp with the black substrate.

Rams and other dwarf cichlids don't dig like the bigger cichlids, as for other suggestions a nice delta or halfmoon betta would look nice. I don't know if you have access to these fish but they are both on my wishlist and kind of small which are dwarf puffers, and whiteseam fighter.

Nice job with a 12 gallon tank, I'd be proud of that regardless of size. I think it looks cool. I'd have to agree with everyone on the rams....and maybe a smaller sized cray?

a couple rams would be nice and a couple cardinal tetra...

one of u said white seam fighter? i looked that up, and that look just like a betta macrostoma small version, right? any more info on that?

otherwise, i'm going for the ctenopoma first, if that didn't work then definitely ram : )

one of u mention dual nano ? i wish :P but as all of u probably knows, SW cost x10 as much as freshwater xD and i doubt the dorm rule meant 10gal per person, it probably 10gal per room xD

i would grow out stuff if my home(where i have my big tanks) is any closer xD but too bad my home is like 400 miles away.... gotta stik with small stuff

I don't have anymore info then you can find on the internet for the whiteseam fighter, I ran across it by accident and it is now on my wishlist lol. I have never owned one though.

awesome.
