I am a lucky guy, i have 2 sets of plecos.

1 set is a common brown and my 2nd set is a calico longfin and an albino short fin.

My tank has been setup for around 2 days. i have both a long and a cave, my male stays in the cave and the female could care less. My water was at 69-71 since the marineland 250watt heater was broken. I shined my flashlight in and seen 2 large clusters of eggs, NOT clear but a very pleaseing orange. week later, i devided my tank and added my 2nd set of plecos, there own driftwood and cave. I have just seen a cluter of eggs in there, again orange but not clear. i also replaced my heater and raised my temp to 81.

My questions are...
is it ok that the eggs are orange? I seen that he took a small cluster of my first batch out of the cave and left them out side. i guess they were bad? How long do they take to hatch? anything i need to know, i would trial and error but i think asking questions since some answers i cant find from google would be better. Also, its a 29 long tank

Sec, let me get it from my facebook.

Uploading the pic of mom (albino) & dad (calico)

That works for me. I'm new to this so wanted to know what to expect.

Sometimes newb parents will accidently kick out a cluster. if the eggs are still orange/golden they are still good. u can choose to collect them and try to put them in carefully or leave them be and hope dad gets them. ive bred these fish dozens of time so if u have any questions feel free to pm me :)

About... 4-5" on both sides. I'll def add you. I'll prob have other questions. Is that normal For them to have babies that fast? Would think it would take time for the female to become egg laden.

Hells yes. I def will. I'm pretty pleased with my self.
