seems like the fish shape would increase the risk of predation. If they are roughly the size of a seal then a lot of shark species would be very interested and capable of eating them.

if it didn't get chomped in half it would probably go about it's regular swimming programming inside the shark/other large fish.. disaster.

If a fish out there sees a shark it gets scared and hides, but it knows it's a shark. If they see a weird machine thing they're gonna be freaked out of their minds.

Kind of like people. If you encounter a bear in the woods... okay, scary but not anything new. If you encounter UFOs in the woods...

Hey maybe the UFOs are peaceful unlike a huge ass grizzly w/ cubs... I'll take my chances w/ the UFO. Piccolo FTW.

I have seen this off and on in the media for awhile. Hopefully this isn't what an alien life form finds and thinks is the first earthling..............still swimming around in it's lab tank.
