Broke my record today

As the title suggests I broke my record today on the largest chub I've caught so far. He was honestly big enough to were I thought it was a trout. Caught him on just a night crawler so no special technic but still surprised me with his size. Decided to take him home and keep him in a tank till I go out catfishin. Can't wait to see how big of a cat I'll catch off of him. I'll post a pic of him on here for others to see if they want. I'll also post some measurements of him once I measure him but he is close to 10in.

Well turns out he is at 11in exactly. So even bigger then I thought. Lol blows my 8in record out of the water haha.

Lol he was the first and only fish I caught today too. That and I surprisingly caught him in a lake instead of a creek like usual.

Usually I just fish em out with rod n reel. Not too hard most of the time but sometimes they can get wise.

Nice river chub! (i think) i would love to build a native tank stocked with bluehead chub, river chub, redbelly dace, and madtoms. They build castles of pebbles when they spawn which would be quite entertaining.
