Broken Bottom Frame on my 75g

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my front frame was cracked on my 180
i pulled the back one off and applied it to the front
then added an aluminum bracket to the back and made sure it was level
but if i could do it again i would just pull them all off and add some styro under the tank for support
you dont really need those peices like others have stated

There are tons of people giggling in the background that aren't going to point out the obvious. Just turn the crack to the back side and go with it. There isn't enough strength in the plastic to be considered in the structural integrity of the tank. It is used in the assembly of the tank, and there after, it is only for cosmetics.
Thanks Chompers, I was wondering when someone was going to point that out as I was reading.

i disagree a broken center brace is asking for a flood...

but the corners should not be a problem
