Long story short, ha anyone ever tried to replace a broken bottom glass in a tank? Mine cracked in my Marineland 300 deep dimension. Curious about fixing it maybe?

seen people patch with a glass piece on either side and silicone. dunno how big the crack is may wanna post a pic so the pros can chime in.

Here's an idea. Its pretty decent. But also not too bad because it was barely dropping through

Wow,sorry to see.I would probably attempt something along the lines of what Binge suggested but I doubt I would ever feel fully comfortable with the repair given the tank size and amount of water that is involved.

That's where I'm hoping to get someone with experience in it! I'm skeptical about fixing it too...but I am getting my money back AND get to keep it.. so I'm wondering if it's fixable

That's good then and if worse comes to worse you could use the tank for housing turtles or other reptiles.

Since you get to keep it and you are getting the money back, try to reseal the tank maybe? I would put a new panel on there personally.

Or like krichardson said use it as a terrarium.... maybe even have like a land area be on the cracked side and make it like a paludarium.
