Broken Bottom Glass Marineland 300 DD

They seem better now, but I dunno whats up with these tanks... I want 6X3 though.

lol I already dealt with them, I'm getting refunded my money. I'm just thinking about the possibility of fixing it for cheap and keeping the leftover $$ as a payment for dealing with this **** lol

is that bottom panel tempered? that's going to change how you deal with this too.

I thought that too but I'd still be doubly sure because if it turns out to be tempered and just broke weird, you can't really drill/patch that lol. I'd honestly just tear that panel out and get a quote on a replacement from a glass shop and silicone 'er in lol.

Not tempered. If it was it would have exploded! Yeah I would just get a new piece of glass an replace the bottom pane. It a little work but not hard to do.

It would mean having to strip the silicone off the entire tank though and redoing it?
That's where I'm iffy about this because I don't want to be at the mercy of me doing it correctly when I've never siliconed one before and we're talking 300 gallons in my living room lol
