i wouldnt trust just silicone to hold a crack, it wont be fun cleaning 100 gallons of water in your house...

Yea well the cracked glass is solid still so I put the glass about a quarter inch on the inside of the broken piece and silicones in between the glass and around the outside to water tight it . Imma leave it with water filled up outside for like a week

Yea they wanna charge me like 100 to replace it but imma try to put that glass on the inside I mean it don look the best but that side will be against the wall if it holds water I'll keep it of not then gonna have to replace it how long to let it cure n test it outside with water

I honestly would replace and resilicone the tank yourself. It'll look better and be more reliable in the long run. You should be able to do that for under $25

Thats a scary risk man. Best bet it to turn it into a terreruim. Any sudden change in pressure or temp and that crack will spider.

Well the water is not even gonna be touching the broken glass there is a 3/8 " sheet in front of the broken piece. On the inside of the tank so it's basically like I'm replacing it jus inside the tank

It doesn't matter the amount of pressure that would be on the opposite side of the crack will make it spider crack and that will be it
