I noticed last night that something is wrong with one of my mono's mouth. His jaw seems to be messed up. I don't know if it is broken, injured or what's going on. I tried the best that I could to take some pics but I couldn't really get a good shot of it. Is this something that can heal or is this fish going to be deformed for life? I don't know how this could have happened. I would really appreciate any feedback from you guys. Thanks

He may have injured it darting thru the tank and ran into the glass or something. If its dislocated or something it will most likely be that way forever. Hopefully it doesnt affect his feeding :(

Peacocks yawn alot and sometimes it does not go back into place hard to tell from your pics I use to have fronts and calvus do that hopefully it will pop back into place.

my tems have the same thing...its like a haning lip on the sides...they have been like that for about 2weeks, the got if from darting and runing in to thing like the the rocks and the glass of the tank...the seem to be doing great and eating well...no problem at all the they seem to be looking better, more of an eye sore...but as long as the look good and eating good, and all parameters are good, just stop staring at it....lol

Yeah, he eats and seems to be doing fine. Once a week I will throw some feeder guppies in the tank for a treat. The pbass do dart around really fast while they are hunting the guppies. He must have ran into the glass or hit something. His jaw hangs down on his right side. I don't even think that his lips touch on that side :( Will it eventually go back to normal or is he stuck this way? Hopefully he gets some awesome color so people wont notice his messed up lip so much when he is older! Haha
