May need to nusre him during feeding for sometime. Hand feeding him will help. Increase's his spirit and gives him more courage. I would say after all the guppies in his future it will all work out!
Keep up wit the W/C and he will come around.I have a catfish that I have with a broke nose and it was bad but it healed very well not 100% but he is healthy and happy. All strong and healthy Cichlids bounce back with a little bit of charachter to boot.
