The ich is finally gone !!!

Boosten Audi , your advice with heat worked like a charm. It wiped out the ich in 2 days. The broko bass also eats more and swims more.

I invested in a nice piece of malasian driftwood and put it in last night. Now I will perfect the water chemistry. Already notice a difference in the water.

I can say for sure that the broko bass and all others made it !!

Thanks again for your help and thanks to all the other members who chimed in.

Your help led to the survival of my special cichla and his progress photos below. I know I made a lot of posts and I may have seemed like a pain in the neck newbie here. I just cared so much about my cichla. I wanted to make sure it did not die. No cichla should die in my book.

I took these photos of my Broko bass just now to show his present appearance vs when I 1st got him 2 weeks ago. He looks like hes blossoming.

I also have before wood and after wood photos with my tank set up. Notice the heaters in the 2 overall set up photos as well.

Photos will speak for themselves.

Glad to hear that they made a good recovery. Keep on keeping on. Nice work and stunning Broko's.

I will...

Hard to believe its the same fish. It has grown a bit and coloring up nice. Very active in my tank and personable.

Great to hear look at all that color in the now pics:headbang2

^^^ I took note of your varying diet plan with tilapia and massivore. When he gets bigger thats what he will get. After seeing your guys, I'm sold on your diet plan.

Speaking of color , your orinos are spectacular.

jw how can i make my bass eat massivore and frozen food? should i starve them?
I've made the mistake of starving one of my kelberi's. It looked sick, skinny, and almost non active. Then I started feeding her rosy's reds, gut loaded with Massivore pellets, then fed them to the kelberi. A few weeks later, I guess it could taste the massivores from the rosy's and started hammering massivores.

Take your time when converting to other foods.

Good job asking all the questions and keeping at it. YOur broko looks great now! Glad to see your lil guy healthy.
