I did everything you said to do with the water conditions (eliminating all chemicals & adding driftwood) along with raising the temp.
Due to adding the malaysian driftwood , my water has softened already and ph has dropped a little as well.
Due to your advice , the ich is all gone and the colors have really come out the last 2 days. Looks like a different fish. More active too.
I also noticed he keeps all his fins perked and open. No more clamped dorsal fin.
All I can say is you REALLY know your stuff with cichla.
