The one I got from Wes looked exactly the same just didn't make the trip and he didn't have any left. They were the same quality of fish

They can still be exported. Wes and Jeff were going in on them together but they had to get large amounts to make it worth wile and they they had to sit on them too long to sell all of them. Plus there wasn't much else to export from brokopondo to mix in. True Wes???

Your information is pretty much all inaccurate.

Jeff and I never shared any shipments. The fish are imported via different airports. We had the same supplier, which is out of this business, so no longer will they be exported.

the last batch of wild ones came almost one year ago. There are many interesting fish from Suriname, the country, including the boesmani ray, aimara wolf, crenicichla multispinosa (endemic) , 4 species of snooks, and the list goes on and on, and I wish I could get more fish from there.

All the current brokopondos you see right now are from me, they are F1 from well selected parents, and there is only one pair and its in a undisclosed location.

Just the story I heard that's why I asked. But you can still get them if you get a new supplier.

There are no exporters in that country for fish. Its not like ordering iphone parts from Kirkland, Costco. Fish is not even 0.1% of any countries economy, there is no infrastructure in many parts of the world for export or collection of tropical fish. With the exception of Iquitios, Peru. Belem, Brazil, and a few other to name.
