Thanks. Today 1 had taken shrimp, I will try again later. The other is adjusting but is not eating black worms or shrimo. I hooe to have it eat later.

Congrats on getting the broko. These guys are exciting to own. Always transforming and growing very fast.

Your broko looks just like the 1 I bought about a year ago. Unfortunatly he died 5 weeks later but a lot changed in that time. I posted his progress photos to give you an idea of what to expect.

Broko bass pellet train easy and are not fussy eaters. They eat a lot.

Hikari carn sticks are the ticket.

Here is my past broko the day he came home

nice. thanks for the photos. 1 is eating well and looking very healthy as the other one is just not really recognizing food. He ate some black worms but just seems very jumpy and timid, I hope to see the progress like your big umbee it looks great. I am currently treating with prazi pro even though my very reliable vendore treated them because I have heard it will boost there appetitie as well just to play on the safe side.

Make sure your temp is 86 degrees. That boosts the metabolism and make them eat more. It also eliminates ich.

As for using meds , avoid them if possible.

Pure clean water is best with approx. 1 teaspoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons of water.

Hikari carn sticks are great as food source and pellet training.

thanks for the help.i feed three times aday and always take out the remaining food. I also do a 15% water change daily. I have lots of oxygen so ill see when i get home if they eat. They ate when i lef tfor work this morning.
