Cuz he's gaping which means he's trying to regulate temperature, hopefully his basking area doesn't exceed 92 degrees, if he's doing this a lot its not a good sign....not trying to be a **** but I've had my beardy 10+ years and you don't wanna see that a lot. Many juvys die as a result, but still a great specimen

BTW those stick on thermometers are crap for reptile setups imo, I used to use one and I spot checked it with ir and temp ended up being almost 10 degrees hotter then what I thought.
