Brown Ghost Knife Fish Care

Hi everybody,
Im new to this site so sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place. Buy anyways, heres my question. I was wondering if water conditioner is okay for my knife fish (I currently have Aqueon water conditioner). He's my first knife fish and I know he is very sensitive to chemicals since he has skin instead of scales. If it is not safe what would you suggest I do in order to have treated water)

Sensitive to meds for sure but should be fine with all conditioners.
